This event is for PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, CHILDREN'S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS and ANYONE working with children!
Preview: Children are uniquely positioned to encounter God. We will explore how we can help children grow in their personal relationship with God by building and stewarding deep spiritual connections and cultivating a Kingdom atmosphere. We will also explore practical, Spirit-led strategies for helping children engage directly with the Lord through hearing His voice, sensing His presence, and responding to His love. March 29th - April 5th
Each year during Resurrection Week, from Palm Sunday to Resurrection Day, we intentionally slow down to pursue Jesus together, creating space for Him to do a work in our hearts and lives as we fix our eyes on the redeeming cross, the empty tomb and the victorious Lamb. Here you will find a full lineup of what this week will entail.

  • MARCH 29th during Resurrection Week
    • Baptisms and Baby Dedications
      • See any staff member to be a part of this celebration of new life during our Sunday service.
    • Fasting begins at 6:00pm Sunday through 6:00pm Friday
      • Begin seeking the Lord on what participating in a week-long fast will look like for you and your family.
    • 24 hour Prayer begins at 6:00pm Sunday through 6:00pm Friday
      • Sign up for a 30-minute time slot to pray each day in our Prayer Room (Portable 3) where we will join in a week of continuous intercession. Look for a sign-up sheet in the foyer.
  • APRIL 1st during Resurrection Week
    • Family & Youth Outreach Night from 6:00pm-8:00pm (Cherry Park in Weatherford)
      • Kids and Youth Ministry have partnered together to host: Operation Andrew Outreach
        • Who: The Gathering Kids & Youth - This is an event for the whole family, and we are asking parents of our Kids Ministry to share in this night at the park with their kiddos. 
        • What: A night of Outreach, Evangelism, Food & Fun! Dinner and games will be provided.
        • When: Wednesday, April 1 6-8pm
        • Where: Cherry Park 300 S Alamo St, Weatherford, TX 76086
        • Why: This is our opportunity to pour out all God has been pouring into us as we've prayed for our community. Let's help others encounter God, respond to His call and invite them into relationship with Him! This will also be an opportunity to invite them to our Easter Services!
  • APRIL 3rd during Resurrection Week
    • Break the Fast with Communion, Worship and a Shared Meal @ 6:00pm
      • We will begin the evening by breaking our week’s fast with communion and worship followed by a shared potluck meal (signup in the foyer to contribute). The Friday of Resurrection Week always proves to be a fun time to connect and be encouraged. 
  • APRIL 5th during Resurrection Week 
    • Resurrection Sunday @ 8:00am & 10:00am
      • Our Lord is alive, and we will celebrate Him together in two services, one at 8:00am and one at 10:00am. To make room for our guests this morning, we will have Kids Church for the entire service, and we are asking you to prayerfully consider attending one and serving in another. Reach out to Jen Lehenbauer or Crystal Gazda to serve.
        • If you are not serving, we would love to see you at our 8:00am service so those that may not regularly attend will have a seat at 10:00am.

APRIL

Silver Fellowship
April 7th @ 10:30am (Kids Building)
Silver Fellowship is a gathering for those ages 55 and older to pursue developing purpose in every season of life. Join us the first Tuesday of every month for worship, encouraging messages and fellowship. We will share a potluck meal together, so reach out to Buz and Glenda Garrison for details. 

Family Lunch and Dessert Auction for Kids Camp and Youth Missions
April 19th
It is time for one of our most enjoyable events of the year -- the Dessert Auction!!  After service, the Worship Center transforms into a place to gather and share a meal together. We call it Family Lunch, but this is one unlike any other. Come ready to bid on some of the tastiest baked goods our congregation has to offer, all to send our Kids to Camp and our Youth to Costa Rica/Panama on Mission. Have you ever seen $200 sourdough chocolate chip cookies, a $600 creme brulee cheesecake or $1000 Italian cream cake??? We have!! Ray Latham will be our auctioneer, and you are sure to have the most fun you have had in a long time watching the most generous people we know raise their paddles for our Kids and Students. Signups for Family Lunch will be in the foyer soon where you can contribute to the shared meal.

SCRIPTURE MEMORY

Did you know that we have a goal of memorizing the entire New Testament as a congregation? We currently have 121 out of 260 chapters memorized. Simply choose an available chapter and memorize it --- or --- work as a team and divide a chapter between you and your family, friends, etc. So fun! To be a part, follow the link below.
